Cherrapunjee, the wettest place on earth is only 56 kms away from Shillong.   • Drive to Cherrapunjee (60 kms. 1 and  1/2 hr), the wettest place on the planet and the only place in India to receive rain throughout the year.     Cleanliness as a way of life came to Mawlynnong, a village of 503, long before Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced his Swachh Bharat or clean India campaign. The village cherishes the title of “Asia’s cleanest village” given to it by India Discovery Magazine in 2003.  Living Route Bridge and Balancing Rock.

Day 1 Arrive in Shillong

Pickup from ShillongShyamoli Bus stand . Lunch at Hotel. After lunch you can go for wards lake and Barapani Lake. Overnight at Shillong.
